Salesforce Services India (SFSI) has been a big contributor towards Salesforce’s Customer Success in India. That’s one way of introducing them, but there is another way too- Salesforce Services India has played a pivotal role in contributing towards our volunteer hours and in fundraising for local organisations. They not only measure their success based on customer projects, but how well they have contributed to the society also.

On June 7th, SFSI took off on a day volunteering at Surabhi Foundation’s campus along with their Regional Services Leader- Paul Voges. Surabhi Foundation is an NGO focused on empowering children and women especially in the rural areas of India. They provide education to underprivileged children and employment opportunities for women. Along with this, they conduct rural health camps, provide health awareness and address environmental issues too.

The SFSI Team decided to give a facelift to one of Surabhi Foundation’s campuses and they achieved this in a day’s time through-

  1. Cleaning the entire campus
  2. Leveling the ground
  3. Placing bins for waste collection and segregation
  4. Painting kids play items
  5. Tree plantation
  6. Fixing window/ glass doors
  7. Building a sand pit for children to play

What’s more? The Team even raised INR 50,000 to enhance the infrastructure of the campus. This was certainly a great volunteering activity from the Team and kudos to everyone who made it a grand success. Hands, Hearts and wallets everything came into play for a great cause. The kids can now live in a cleaner and safer environment.
