It’s the week of Salesforce World Tour London 2017 and we’re sure you’re as excited as we are to experience the latest innovations, Trailblazer activities and networking that’s on the cards for Thursday. So what is there specifically for you, our Nonprofit and Higher Education community to see and get inspiration from? Well, you asked, and we listened. This year we’re bringing you a full day line-up of content developed just for you. In the Salesforce.org Zone, located by registration, you’ll find the Salesforce.org Theatre which will host all our Nonprofit and Higher Education content for the day. Here you’ll experience a wide variety of sessions ranging from Customer Success, all the way to Omni-Channel Marketing and Salesforce adoption. You’ll also hear some great stories from our partners, who work across the globe, helping our community maximise success on Salesforce.

13:00pm – Using HEDA to Transform LSE’s Student Recruitment
In today’s competitive higher education landscape, universities are adopting new ways to attract prospective applicants and meet the expectations of savvy students. Join this session to hear about LSEs use of Salesforce.org’s Higher Education Data Architecture (HEDA) to support their student recruitment, while Jason Belland (Director, Higher Ed Industry Solutions) will share updates on the evolution of our Connected Campus strategy.
14:00pm A Platform for Nonprofits in the 4th Industrial Revolution
The word “platform” is everywhere these days, but what does it really mean for nonprofits? Join us to understand how to leverage the power of the Salesforce platform to make a greater impact and ensure no-one gets left behind. Hear from UK charity, Concern Group as they share their journey towards digital transformation. In a world that’s becoming increasingly 5 connected and mobile, Concern Group knew it needed to advance its use of technology to ensure its clients get the service they deserve – hear how Concern Group has leveraged the Salesforce platform and plans to over-achieve on its promise to bring mental health services to those that need them.

09:00 – NGO: Why Nonprofits Should Care Just as Much about the Marketing Journey
In a results orientated world, it’s easy to be hyper-focused on conversion rates, attributable to that ‘last great message’ you sent. But what if you could amplify the engagement and build stronger relationships with your constituents so that every message is great? Our Salesforce.org Marketing Specialists explore how a focus on building journeys and not just final outcomes is critical for success.
09:30 – NGO: How to Track and Manage Volunteers, VIPs and Thousands of Visitors with Salesforce Communities
This July, The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) will welcome more than 230 aircrafts from 25 countries – and more than 150,000 visitors to the RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. The logistics of running any event can be complex but add in security clearance requirements and a mix of guests from V-VIPs through to volunteers and service personnel from around the world, and it becomes more complicated still. The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises and Purple Vision will showcase how Salesforce is transforming event logistics and customer experience.

12:30 – HED: Transforming your HEDA Database into a Donor Management System
HEDA enables colleges and universities to track students’ entire progression, including every course, programme, and affiliation. While this data plays a key role for alumni management, an important gap exists for processing donations. This session explores how to integrate donor management functionality within HEDA to help fundraising departments succeed in revenue generation.

The payment market is rapidly changing with new payment regulations and technology innovations empowering nonprofits to build new campaign models. 13:30 – NGO: Using Salesforce to Track International Impact
Vera Solutions will showcase how Salesforce solutions are enabling social impact organisations like the Aga Khan Foundation and the Global Innovation Fund to track the reach of their international programmes. Join this session to see these systems in action and witness first-hand how implementers and funders are using Salesforce for programme management and monitoring and evaluation (M&E).
14:00 – NGO & HED: Access the Next Generation of Salesforce Talent with Step Forward
Join this session to learn about Step Forward’s innovative Salesforce apprenticeship programme. Learn how apprentices can help you build your talent pipeline, and the ROI and value apprentices can bring. Also – hear about the new UK apprenticeship levy and how to get the most value from it. We’ll also be welcoming a current apprentice from the Salesforce stream to share their journey. The Step Forward team will also be available for questions following the session.
14:45 – NGO: Deploy and Adopt Salesforce for Nonprofits
Learn how to deploy users in a Salesforce implementation, understand the key components of adoption and ensure every user in your organisation is engaged and productive. You’ll also learn how to measure ongoing adoption and use key performance indicators to measure success.
15:15 – NGO & HED: Transformative Implementations 101: Solutions Not Apps
This session will showcase what a transformative Salesforce implementation might look like, while highlighting the crucial preparatory steps and the process of selecting the right solution for you. The concept of a solution stack on force. com will also be covered along with key elements that need to be considered.
15:45pm – NGO: Salesforce for Nonprofit Programme Management
Increasingly, nonprofits are using Salesforce for programme management and impact measurement. During this session you’ll see how you can manage and support beneficiaries and evaluate your performance and impact in real-time. During the session you will hear some case studies including how Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, and organisation whose aim is to eradicate cervical cancer across the UK is tracking all its work using Salesforce.
