Salesforce.com provide Internship opportunities with Trinity College Ireland

By James Leigh June 20, 2012

On Monday, four new interns started at Salesforce.com’s Dublin office as part of a joint initiative between Salesforce.org and Trinity College Ireland’s ‘Trinity Access Programme’ (TAP).

The TAP supports students who come from socio-economic groups, under-represented in higher education, to improve access to and participation at University.

Alastair, Geraldine, Indre and Robert are participating in the year-long mentoring program. They have attended two ‘Technology & Business Workshops’ held here in the office and are now starting a Summer Internship with the Sales Development team. There role will focus on profiling key contacts and making outbound calls in to the UK Market.

Over the last year this scheme has been strongly supported by the EMEA Leadership Team, who have given their time to the mentoring program that is central to the students’ success.

You can find out more about the great work the TAP do here.
