Raising $1M for Puerto Rico Relief

Over the last few weeks, we’ve watched with sadness the devastation caused by hurricanes in Texas, Florida, and most recently Puerto Rico and the rest of the Caribbean.
Our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted by these events. In addition to sending our thoughts and prayers, we all need to ask ourselves what more we can do to help those in need.
In addition to our efforts to support victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, today Salesforce is committed to raising $1M to support the relief efforts in Puerto Rico following the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria.
Salesforce.org will make a $250,000 donation to UNICEF, which Marc and Lynne Benioff have graciously agreed to match. We are encouraging Salesforce employees to raise an additional $250,000, which will be matched by our matching grants program, to reach $1M before Dreamforce kicks off on November 6.
We hope others will look for ways to give back, whether big or small. If you want to join us, please consider donating to UNICEF to support their relief efforts, or ConPRmetidos, whose mission is to help restore the community and communications.
