NPSP for Human Services Organisations

By Salesforce.org November 22, 2016

For nearly 30 years, local non-profit Mother’s Choice has served children without families and pregnant teenagers in Hong Kong. Their work is expansive: programs and services range from providing non-judgmental support to young girls in crisis to conducting comprehensive sexuality education to students, teachers, and parents to providing support for foster and adoptive families, while working towards their vision of seeing every child in a loving family — all of which they did, up until a few years ago, without the help of the internet.

Mother's Choice - NPSP Human Services

Operating in older colonial buildings without access to a stable internet connection (let alone cloud-based solutions), Mother’s Choice made a strategic decision in 2014 to invest not only in fiber cables, but also in Salesforce, in order to better serve their growing community. After many years making-do with legacy systems, Excel spreadsheets, and old fashioned pen and paper, Mother’s Choice was facing ballooning logistical challenges and lacked insight into their programmatic data.

They turned to the cloud to help move the organization forward: “Because we’re a non-profit, people said that technology would be a luxury, but we really see the value that Salesforce brings to our work,” said Peggy Lau, a CRM Executive for Mother’s Choice. Nearly three years and several implementations later, Mother’s Choice is committed to using the power of the platform to improve their operations, measure the impact of their services, and ease their reporting burden.

Join us for a live webinar on Thursday, 8 December to learn how Mother’s Choice is using Salesforce and the Nonprofit Success Pack to manage their community education programs, bolster fundraising, and organize their more than 450 volunteers.
