NPO101: A Hands-on Class for Learning Salesforce for Nonprofits

By: Marc Baizman, Customer Success Director, Salesforce.org and
Garrett Farwell, Senior Application Instructor, Salesforce University
We heard you loud and clear: nonprofit admins want Salesforce training that is designed specifically for their unique processes and terminology. Today, we’re excited to announce the first official training class designed for nonprofit organizations using the Nonprofit Starter Pack!
This class is the result of the first-ever collaboration between Salesforce University and Salesforce.org. We taught an alpha version last summer with a select group of nonprofit students, whose feedback helped us build the final curriculum for this class. After officially launching it at Dreamforce 2015, we’re planning to offer this course on a regular basis from now on, starting with the first session scheduled for December 8 and 9 at Salesforce HQ in San Francisco.
This class is a great complement to existing Salesforce University courses like Administration Essentials for New Admins (ADM201) and our new Fundraising Trail in Trailhead.
Here’s what people who took the class are saying:
“I left with a good working understanding of NPSP functionality, platform integration, report writing and simple admin tasks.”
“It was perfect for our organization as we plan for implementation!”
“This class offers great basic, but essential, information!”
Here is the full course description and registration information:
