Midwest Dreamin’ – Community Collaboration at Work

By: Nick Lindberg, Director of Nonprofits, Redpath
This week, Salesforce is taking over Chicago. Starting Tuesday, I’ll be dreamin’ up big things for the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) at the NPSP Sprint. Follow along on Twitter using #NPSPSprint. And on Thursday, August 10, the dreamin’ continues as Midwest Dreamin’ comes to Chicago!
Midwest Dreamin’ is a community led, community run event in place since 2011. Organized by a strong group of regional User Group leaders (including myself) who had a dream to bring a ‘Super User Group’ with marquee quality speakers to the Midwest for learning and networking.
What can you expect to learn? Here are just a few things to look forward to:
- Keynote speakers from Salesforce including James Loduca from the Office of Equality, Ayori Selassie, Product Marketing Manager for Einstein and Peter Coffee, VP of Strategic Research.
- A Demo jam, where app vendors will battle it out for an opportunity to show their product on the big stage. Vendors for this year include cloudcraze, coveo, fastforms, forcivity, formassembly, internet creations and more. View the full list.
- A genius bar will be running throughout the event. This is a great place to get your Salesforce questions answered by local Salesforce experts.
- 30+ sessions highlighting the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), Lightning and more!
Salesforce.org will be sponsoring the Nonprofit track, take a look at the sessions! If you’re attending, be sure to stop by the Salesforce.org table to say hello and interact with community members!
