For the month of March, we are proud to highlight the community contributions of Paul Iannaccone and Mariana Mazzeo. Thanks to Paul and Mariana for all you do!
Paul Iannaccone
Ohlone College Foundation
Two truths and one lie about Paul:
- I enjoy spending time in the land with the highest tides in the world – 16.3 meters (53.5 feet).
- I proposed to my wife on the top of San Gorgonio writing in the summit log. Luckily, she signed it right after me.
- I can’t wait to go back to using Raiser’s Edge.
Why is community important to you? What motivates you to contribute?
Ever since I first learned of Salesforce and the NPSP 2.0 I have been in awe of what Salesforce and Salesforce.org has made accessible to the nonprofit world. Having spent my whole life running small nonprofits I’ve never before had the opportunity to work with cutting edge tech nor share in a more giving community than I have found on the HUB.
Moving to Salesforce has, and continues to be, a challenging yet exciting journey. Paying it forward is one small way I can thank the many who make this journey possible.
Mariana Mazzeo

Two truths and one lie about Mariana:
- I learned Salesforce while I was working at an ópera company (It was an NGO. But no, I’m not a singer!)
- I grew up in Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego, Argentina ), the southernmost city in the world. Better known as “El fin del mundo, el principio de la vida.”
- My first pet was a penguin. Remember: I grow up in Ushuaia 🙂
Why is community important to you? What motivates you to contribute?
I worked with nonprofit organizations for many years and I strongly believe that the community is the best way to learn and share knowledge. What motivates me is to help other organizations and to grow the Spanish-speaking community.
I really like the idea of sharing knowledge and learning from all people who are involved in the Hub, and that together we will continue promoting the work of social organizations through technology.
