Salesforce.org Named An Honoree Of Fast Company’s 2022 Brands That Matter Awards
Today Salesforce.org was named an honoree of Fast Company’s 2022 Brands That Matter Awards, recognizing brands that have achieved relevance through cultural impact and social engagement, and whose branding authentically communicates their missions and ideals.
At Salesforce.org, our full focus is on powering the purpose of nonprofit organizations and educational institutions through the acceleration of technology. When they achieve their missions, we achieve ours. It’s really that simple.
That means that everything we do as a brand must meet that standard. The work we do as an organization is designed to equip our community of changemakers, community leaders, and educators with the tools they need. From technology to templates, inspiration to interaction — and everything in between.
In 2021, Salesforce.org introduced an updated brand identity, design system, and messaging, further centering the missions and focus of our constituents at the heart of our brand experience. And we expanded our storytelling focus to spotlight more stories of our community, we piloted sharing the work of our global community in new ways.
Force Multiplier Podcast:
Force Multiplier is an original podcast in partnership with iHeartMedia designed to amplify stories of how technology can be used for good. Host Baratunde Thurston’s engaging interview style, paired with well-known season one guests like cultural icon Charlamagne Tha God, the CEO of The Nature Conservancy, the Head of Advocacy at UNICEF, and other global leaders, results in engaging conversations about how collaboration can help solve global issues like climate action, health equity, and nutrition and water security.
The Inheritance Project:
Salesforce.org is the technology partner for The Atlantic’s “Inheritance,” a critical reporting effort to gather, examine and share stories of the African Diaspora, specifically the Black American experience, at scale. This deep well of stories — of marginalized luminaries, shared moments of joy, overlooked contributions to culture, and everyday resilience — spotlights lessons from our shared history and the potential of our shared future.
Salesforce.org Impact Labs is a collaborative program to co-design innovative technology solutions that address the toughest social issues facing us today. To date, our Impact Labs cohorts have focused on building design-led, community-driven technology solutions related to housing and homelessness, education equity, and climate change. Outputs of our Impact Labs include the award-winning Financial Aid Chatbot — designed to create more equitable access to funding for students from marginalized communities and nontraditional learners, and Service Match — an open-source app designed to help connect people experiencing homelessness to vital services.
