Dreamforce Survival Kit: This Week

Can you believe it? Dreamforce 2016 is this week! That means it’s time for our last edition of the Dreamforce Survival Kit, geared to help you in your final prep for DF16.

1. Check out the final version of the Trailblazer’s Guidebook
The final Trailblazer’s Guidebook is here! This year, the sessions in the Guidebook are tagged both by solution and by cause — so you’ll be able to find the sessions that are perfect for you! The Guidebook links directly to the Dreamforce Agenda Builder, making it easy for you to register to all the sessions that catch your eye.

2. Prepare for the Salesforce.org Quest!
If you’ve been keeping up with the Dreamforce Survival Kit, you know that the headquarters of Salesforce.org this year is the Lodge at the Westin St. Francis. At the Lodge, we’ll be hosting a Quest, where you can complete a variety of tasks to win some awesome swag. You can start preparing for the Quest by downloading the Trailblazer’s Guidebook — the instructions are on page 7, and the Quest map is on pages 8 – 9. The treasure hunt is on!

3. Download the Dreamforce Events app.
Before you get to Dreamforce, take a moment to download the Dreamforce Events app, which will make planning your DF16 agenda a breeze. There are over 3,000 sessions at this year’s Dreamforce, and the mobile app will help you navigate the potential madness. You can download the app from the App Store or from Google Play. (And speaking of phones, it’s never a bad idea to pack a portable charger so that your phone is prepped to withstand the long days.)

4. Keep up on the weather.
We have to admit — the weather in San Francisco has been pretty nice lately, and it appears that trend may continue through Dreamforce. As of now, daytime temperatures should be around 70 degrees for the week, and there’s no rain in the forecast. But we’re technologists, not meteorologists, so check your favorite weather app, and be prepared for some chilly evenings (and yes, even rain).

5. Spread the word about the FREE Expo+ passes.
Full passes are sold out, but if you know someone who wants to get in on the DF16 action, point them to the (completely free) Expo+ pass. While the Expo+ pass won’t get you access to everything at Dreamforce, it will allow you to attend certain keynotes, as well as the Cloud Expo and the Dreampark.
