Community Hero Brad Struss

“It is fun to watch the evolution of Hub members from a newbie asking lots of questions to an expert answering questions and sharing knowledge.”
– Brad Struss
We are celebrating the one year anniversary of the Power of Us HUB by recognizing 30 community members who have been instrumental in supporting the growing community of nonprofit and higher ed Salesforce users.
Today’s community hero is Brad Struss (@bradstr), Founder and Principal at Bigger Boat Consulting. Not only is Brad a top contributor in the Power of Us HUB, a co-leader of the Salesforce Seattle Nonprofit User Group, and a guest author on the Foundation blog, but he and his team have also contributed several super useful Knowledge articles to the HUB Knowledge base (like Top 10 questions to ask when choosing a Salesforce App). In his “spare” time, he also founded and leads the Salesforce NPO Partner User Group for nonprofit organizations who are actively building, selling, and supporting applications on the force.com platform. What else can we say? Brad is da’ BEST!
Who are you (in 250 words or less)?
“I run a small consulting firm focused on working with Salesforce.org customers. I love to see nonprofits really take ownership of their Salesforce systems.”
How long have you been working with Salesforce products?
“Since 2010.”
What quick tip would you give someone getting started with Salesforce?
“Inline editable list views of records can be a quick way to organize and edit key data.”
As a thank-you for all Brad has done for the community over the last year, the Foundation is donating $250 to a nonprofit of his choice.
