Community Hero Beth Breisnes

By Salesforce.org August 4, 2014

“I love being able to ask tough questions of community experts AND do my best to help other admins with their own dilemmas. It’s been wonderful to connect with so many other nonprofit users and the ever-generous partner community.”
– Beth Breisnes

Beth BreisnesWe are celebrating the one year anniversary of the Power of Us HUB by recognizing 30 community members who have been instrumental in supporting the growing community of nonprofit and higher ed Salesforce users.

Today’s community hero is Beth Breisnes (@bethbrains). Beth is consistently one of the top 5 contributors in the HUB. She has answered hundreds of questions, shared lessons learned from her own projects and implementations, participated in certification study groups, asked questions, and generally been a huge asset to all of us in the HUB.  In her “free” time, she is also a co-leader of the Vancouver Nonprofit User Group. Basically, she ROCKS!

Who are you (in 250 words or less)?

“I am the in-house SFDC Admin/Developer for Canada’s largest environmental non-profit organization. With an MBA in Sustainable Business under my belt, I bring a hell-bent focus on operational efficiency, a knack for asking probing questions, and a passion for environmental sustainability and social justice.”

How long have you been working with Salesforce products?

“Since 2009.”

What quick tip would you give someone getting started with Salesforce?

“Get to know the report builder ASAP!”

As a thank-you for all Beth has done for the community over the last year, the Foundation is donating $250 to a nonprofit of her choice.
