Celebrating Award-Winning Innovation at the Eduventures Annual Summit

By Salesforce.org October 28, 2016

EduventuresEduventures, a leading research and advisory firm focused on analyzing forces that are transforming higher education, announced the winners of the 2016 Innovation Award this week at its Annual Summit in Boston, Massachusetts. The Eduventures Innovation Awards Program is designed to identify and honor higher education institutions that have demonstrated significant innovations when developing and deploying programs in each of these categories:

  • A successful enrollment management strategy in a fast-changing environment
  • Creative use of technology to boost student success
  • A compelling story about successfully defining and reporting outcomes

We are thrilled to announce that The University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business and Oral Roberts University were both recipients of this year’s award based on innovative use of Salesforce technology at their individual institutions.

Accepting the award for the Leeds School of Business, Joanna Iturbe, Technical Project Manager shared “With a growing focus on improving student outcomes, our institution has worked hard to create a culture of innovation, which was spearheaded by our adoption of our CRM system.”

Michael Mathews, overall designer of ORU’s Geovision™ technologies and ORU’s CIO, stated “Without the Salesforce enterprise approach to customer relationship management it is clear we would have taken three times as long to accomplish this initiative. Salesforce was the ‘silver’ in ORU’s global technology bullet. Many people may say there are no silver bullets, but this prestigious innovation award may suggest otherwise.”

Nothing makes us happier than to see our customers succeed – and better yet – be recognized for that success! To learn more about the winners, take a look at this press release. Join us in congratulating both institutions on their recognition.
