4 Perfect Days at Dreamforce ‘19 for Nonprofits

By Salesforce.org October 31, 2019

By: Benjamin Barry

A few tips on selecting sessions for Dreamforce:

  1. Define what you want to learn, before you look at the schedule. What is really important to you right now? Dreamforce is huge, so it helps to focus.
  2. Attend a session or two on a topic that is new to you. You will be amazed at how many times you can find an unexpected idea or lesson learned that can help your institution
  3. Network with your peers and vendors! If this is your first Dreamforce, find a couple of schools with use cases of interest to you and set up some time to meet and share stories. Get to know the MVPs, or veteran users. We are a strong and helpful community if you’re willing to dig in.

Also, a pro tip on session etiquette: We rely on attendee feedback to make each Dreamforce better than the last. One recurring suggestion that we received last year was how it can be distracting for session goers and speakers alike when attendees left sessions early. With that in mind, we ask that you not leave your sessions before it ends or sit in the back to minimize the disturbance if you need to head out early. Thanks in advance for helping everyone at Dreamforce have a great learning experience!
